Play European Roulette. The green zero on a European roulette table gives the house a slight edge, as players can only make inside (long odds) bets on the zero. American roulette wheels feature an additional green double zero, which increases the house edge and reduces your chances of winning.

Large Inside Bets

Don't make large inside bets. The high payout odds that are available on inside bets reflect how unlikely it is that they will come off. While it may be tempting to put large bets on single numbers or small groups of numbers in the hope of getting a huge reward, this will drain your playing account faster than you can fill it up. Save the big bets for the outside bets, and your money will last a lot longer.

Accept Your Losses

Don't chase your losses. Some players, when they have lost a lot of money at the roulette table, will pump in more money in an effort to claw back some of their losses. Therefore, if you are having a run of bad luck, it makes sense to pull out of the game and live to fight another day, rather than risk losing even more money at the roulette table.
